About The Position

Stella-Jones is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team at our Saint-Laurent Head Office. Reporting to the IT Management team, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking technology projects across various departments. This role requires a versatile and collaborative professional capable of leading initiatives within our SAP ecosystem (enhancements and project workstreams) while supporting multi-disciplinary IT projects across the entire organisation (finance, HRIS, operations, procurement and more). This is a newly added IT Project Manager role due to company growth and is a hybrid role with two days per week in our Montréal office (Saint-Laurent).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience delivering IT and enterprise software projects.
  • Hands-on experience leading projects, functional implementations, or enhancements within an SAP environment.
  • SAP experience ideally across areas such as TM, PP, MM, S&OP, and FI/CO.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience supporting corporate functions (Finance, HR, Communications, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) is required due to cross-regional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and SAP enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement SAP ERP for new plants
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders, key stakeholders, internal technical teams, and external consulting partners to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocations, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, testing strategies, training, and deployment activities for SAP and cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Coordinate project activities across corporate departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment and strong change management.
  • Provide clear, concise, and structured status reports and project updates to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects adhere to IT governance, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Perform other related project management duties as required.
