About The Position

Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to manage and deliver large Information Security (cyber) projects/programs within RCG’s Global Enterprise Technology (GET) department. This role ensures consistency of processes across various tracks and is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of strategic information security programs that reduce enterprise risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen RCG’s cyber resilience across corporate, shipboard, and shoreside environments. The IT Project Manager will act as an orchestrator across technology, security, operations, finance, and vendors, ensuring security programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of Information Security (cyber) project management experience
  • 6+ years of Information Technology experience
  • 6+ years of experience managing projects
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management experience (excellent written & verbal skills required).
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and lead effectively.
  • Strong governance, financial, and delivery discipline.
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure, including networks and platforms.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.
  • Deep & broad experience with IT environments and related technology apps.
  • Proactive, self-starter able to ramp-up quickly.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office suite.
  • PPM tooling experience (e.g., Workfront, JIRA).
  • Familiarity with information security frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
  • Owns project outcomes and results; Takes ownership of tasks, decisions, and their outcomes.

  • Project / Program Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, etc. preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate cross-team planning and estimation of GET Security related projects.
  • Facilitate scope discussions and help ensure alignment on what is in scope across involved teams & leadership.
  • Facilitate enterprise-level planning, estimation, and sequencing of security initiatives.
  • Lead prioritization discussions when demand exceeds capacity; escalate trade-offs and risks to executive leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between security objectives, business outcomes, regulatory obligations, and resource constraints.
  • Own and manage large, multi-track cybersecurity programs across GET Security and partner technology teams.
  • Drive program governance, structure, cadence, and reporting across all security initiatives within your portfolio.
  • Ensure interdependencies, risks, scope boundaries, and critical path items are visible and actively managed.
  • Manage and monitor inter-connected IT/Security projects, across various teams, as it relates to your projects, to ensure dependencies are exposed and scope is well understood.
  • Track and monitor program status, ensuring risks are reviewed & mitigated, issues are escalated & resolved, and changes are documented & approved (utilizing RCG’s PPM solution).
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings, with key stakeholders, to help ensure a holistic and thorough solution/view of the program.
  • Ensure proper and timely program communication to all internal and external stakeholders (status reports, steering committee, resource managers, etc).
  • Facilitate review of key Security program/projects with Sr. Management & key stakeholders.
  • Track progress across all workstreams using RCG’s PPM tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira).
  • Ensure milestones, risks, issues, changes, and dependencies are documented, reviewed, and resolved.
  • Drive disciplined delivery through structured governance, steering committees, and leadership readouts.
  • Design, build, and sustain high-performing, cross-functional delivery teams to ensure the flawless execution of enterprise security programs.
  • Forecast, plan, and actively manage resource capacity across internal teams and vendor partners to align skills, demand, and delivery milestones.
  • Proactively identify staffing gaps and constraints, recommending hiring, reallocation, or vendor augmentation to mitigate delivery risk.
  • Lead, inspire, and empower delivery teams by setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and creating an environment where people can perform at their best and grow their capabilities.
  • Own end-to-end financial management for assigned security programs, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and benefits tracking.
  • Ensure financial transparency and accuracy to meet departmental planning, reporting, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to optimize spend, ensure value realization, and drive informed investment decisions.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate program, operational, and cyber risks.
  • Support regulatory and framework alignment (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Build strong partnerships with Security, Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Business leaders, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with technical and non-technical teams involved with Information Security (e.g., other GET departments, Infrastructure & Ops, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, Vendors, etc.), as it relates to your projects.
  • Steward of security program budgets.
  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking for assigned security programs.
  • Partner with finance and leadership to ensure accurate planning, benefits realization, and cost transparency.
  • Forecast resource needs and ensure programs are properly staffed across internal teams and vendors.
