About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will support a critical data-processing application responsible for managing large-scale, complex, and high-volume data for Global Markets operations and regulatory reporting. The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Core experience with Java and Python
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master using Agile tools (Jira)
  • Strong project and technical management experience
  • Proven business analysis skills to translate business and regulatory requirements into technology solutions
  • Experience with large-scale data platforms, data processing systems, or regulatory reporting environments
  • Ability to develop business, functional, and technical requirements documentation, user stories, and process flows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience partnering with Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk stakeholders within a regulated financial services environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data platforms, regulatory reporting processes, and enterprise application delivery frameworks
  • Knowledge of business process analysis and solution design practices
  • Understanding of financial markets and Global Markets business processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for executive presentations and reporting
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment with an understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and control requirements

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze requirements, developing business and functional documentation
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Transform complex business and regulatory needs into actionable delivery plans
  • Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Lead complex initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and deployment
