About The Position

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and technology modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong IT project management expertise combined with technical knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, software delivery, system integrations, and enterprise application modernization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience managing technical or infrastructure-focused projects
• Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects
• Strong risk, issue, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
• Familiarity with PMI, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologies

Nice To Haves

• PMP Certification
• Infrastructure modernization and migration projects
• Windows Server, SQL Server, and enterprise infrastructure
• Cloud and hybrid technology initiatives
• Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Microsoft Planner

• Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and development teams

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, resources, and dependencies.
• Coordinate infrastructure, cloud, database, application development, security, and vendor teams.
• Prepare project documentation including project charters, RAID logs, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Partner with architects and technical leads to manage implementation risks and deployment activities.
• Support infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, software upgrades, and enterprise application initiatives.
• Ensure projects align with agency governance, standards, and strategic objectives.
• Provide executive-level project reporting and stakeholder communication.
