About The Position

This is a 6-month contract opportunity for an IT Project Manager reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Portal & CRM Services. The role involves managing activities related to Hightower’s Client Portal, focusing on providing a positive experience for end users. The candidate will partner with vendor resources and the internal team to ensure seamless operations and an excellent advisor experience, while also contributing to process improvements and standardization.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry (Wealth Management preferred).
• A developed understanding of the operational details of the advisory business (e.g., RIA) functions (IT, Operations, Compliance) preferred, with the ability to understand the client-facing perspective of our client portal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to learn.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to own and continually improve standard processes.
• The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly, while working independently.
• A growth mindset and a propensity to take initiative to constantly improve processes, workflows, and results.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to assist in onboarding advisor practices to Hightower’s client portal by reviewing and cleaning data.
• Define the scope of data cleanup, addressing issues like duplicates, missing values, outdated information, and incorrect entries.
• Validate results for accuracy and completeness.
• Work within Salesforce, Box, Asana, reporting (Black Diamond, Tamarac), and financial planning tools (eMoney).
• Collect and implement data into the client portal, including uploading photos and logos, configuring portal settings, and ensuring proper integration.
• Assist in testing the client portals to ensure data is displayed correctly and the portal functions as expected, validating advisor and client experiences.
• Update the hiring manager and business stakeholders on project progress.
• Exhibit high-level customer service with customers and clients.
