About The Position

The IT Project Manager oversees and manages the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The role works closely with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet specified requirements. The IT Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to project teams, manages project risks, and communicates project status to key stakeholders. The position is in the IT Operations department at CoxHealth’s West Campus in Springfield, Missouri. The stated schedule is 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, day shift.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in IT project management or related roles, including experience managing large-scale and complex projects; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a related field is listed in the experience requirement.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire project teams.
Ability to make critical decisions affecting project outcomes and organizational strategies.
Experience managing a portfolio of complex IT projects and optimizing resource allocation.
Understanding of business processes and ability to align IT projects with overall business needs.
Ability to drive innovation in project management practices and IT solutions.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
