About The Position

The IT Project Manager oversees and manages the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the organization. The role works closely with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements. The IT Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to project teams, manages project risks, and communicates project status to key stakeholders. This position is in IT Operations at CoxHealth’s West Campus (Chase) in Springfield, Missouri. It is scheduled for 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, day shift.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management or related roles, including experience managing large-scale and complex projects, OR a bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire project teams.
Ability to make critical decisions that affect project outcomes and organizational strategies.
Experience managing a portfolio of complex IT projects and optimizing resource allocation.
Understanding of business processes and ability to align IT projects with overall business needs.
Capability to drive innovation in project management practices and IT solutions.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
