LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity in Central Illinois. This role requires significant project management expertise to manage maintenance, support, and application development projects and resources. Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management
- 8+ years of experience with Risk Management as it relates to managing Maintenance, Support and Application Development projects/resources
- Experience with MS Project or other Project Management Tools
- Experience creating project deliverables using project management software
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall Methodology
- Experience managing requirements as it relates to project/resource deliverables
- Experience with Documentation and Implementation as it relates to managing Maintenance and Support
- Experience with Team leadership (placing employees on projects) both consultants and internal
- Experience establishing and following a timeline
- 2+ years of experience managing multiple maintenance and development projects simultaneously
- 2+ years of experience managing/directing internal developers and vendor development teams
- 2+ years of experience coordinating and setting meetings, timelines, communications and project expectations
- 2+ years of experience developing project plans
- Effective communication in English (written & verbal)
- Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Responsibilities
- Manage Maintenance, Support and Application Development projects/resources
- Create project deliverables using project management software
- Manage requirements as it relates to project/resource deliverables
- Oversee documentation and implementation for maintenance and support
- Provide team leadership, including assigning consultants and internal employees to projects
- Establish and follow timelines
- Manage multiple maintenance and development projects simultaneously
- Manage/direct internal developers and vendor development teams
- Coordinate and set meetings, timelines, communications, and project expectations
- Develop project plans
