About The Position

Talan is seeking a talented IT Project Manager to join their team and work on Global Markets Operations projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery and be passionate about driving post-trade IT initiatives from build through to production. This role is based in NYC and requires a hybrid work model with at least 3 days onsite per week. Talan does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas.

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of experience in IT project management within financial services, ideally covering operations or regulatory programs.
• Hands-on Jira experience and solid understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Comfortable working across IT Business Analysts, Developers, and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Familiar with back office or post-trade systems (Global Markets context is a strong plus).
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the IT project plan in Jira, keeping it in sync with the global program timeline and flagging risks before they become problems.
• Track IT change requests, budgets, and dependencies end-to-end, adjusting plans as the project evolves.
• Make sure all IT documentation is produced, up to date, and properly archived to meet governance and compliance standards.
• Coordinate testing and deployment activities across IT teams, and stay on top of post-release bugs until closure.
• Communicate project status clearly and regularly to stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, and IT leadership.
• Drive delivery readiness at each phase gate, from UAT through go-live handover to production support.
