About The Position

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives across GTS Network & Infrastructure and Hyve CIS ERP / enterprise systems. This role operates within the IT Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for driving disciplined execution, transparency, and alignment across technical and business stakeholders. The IT PMO is relatively new and continuing to grow and mature, and this role will play a key part in shaping how projects are delivered across IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing hands‑on project delivery with helping establish and refine processes, standards, and ways of working. This position may be filled at a mid‑level or senior level, depending on experience. Senior‑level candidates are expected to demonstrate greater autonomy, leadership influence, and contribution to PMO maturity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering IT initiatives
  • Experience supporting both infrastructure/network projects and enterprise systems or ERP initiatives
  • Working knowledge of: Network and infrastructure environments ERP or enterprise application delivery SDLC and system integration concepts
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors
  • Experience working within a PMO environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and influence without authority
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent, high‑visibility initiatives
  • Ability to travel as business needs require
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or related project management certification
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects from initiation through deployment and close
  • Manage a portfolio of initiatives spanning: Network and infrastructure programs (GTS) ERP and enterprise system initiatives (Hyve CIS)
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and success criteria
  • Ensure delivery aligned to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Manage network and infrastructure projects such as: Network deployments and upgrades Data center or site infrastructure builds and refreshes Hardware procurement, installation, and readiness coordination Coordinate across network engineering, infrastructure, security, facilities, and operations teams Manage vendor deliverables and infrastructure dependencies Minimize operational risk and disruption during deployments
  • Lead ERP and enterprise application initiatives including: System implementations, upgrades, and enhancements Integrations and data interfaces Business process enablement Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and IT SMEs Ensure alignment to SDLC processes Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go‑live readiness Act as the primary coordination point across IT, business, and vendor teams
  • Facilitate alignment and decision‑making without direct authority
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)
  • Escalate blockers with clear recommendations and tradeoff awareness
  • Operate within PMO governance, reporting standards, and change control processes
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the IT PMO by: Supporting standardization of templates, tools, and delivery practices Providing feedback to improve project visibility and execution consistency
  • Senior‑level PMs are expected to help mentor others, influence PMO practices, and lead through ambiguity
