About The Position

The IT Project Manager III will manage large and highly complex projects and varying types of programs, including large budgets and multiple projects and programs in parallel. These projects encompass technical, technology, clinical, business, strategic, and improvement initiatives. The role requires mastery in PM practices and tools, with the ability to tailor them to specific project needs. The IT Project Manager III will work closely with stakeholders and business owners to initiate, plan, and execute projects, emphasizing outstanding team orientation, project service delivery, and customer service. This position interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including stakeholders, end users, distributors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project deliverables. The role acts as an ambassador for the organization-wide IS division, integrating consistent project management methodologies, delivery standards, tools, and terminology based on Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices. The IT Project Manager III will serve as an expert PM influencer, mentor, and coach, possessing expert communication skills to interact with all levels of the project team, including executives. They will work closely with and communicate with all applicable project stakeholders to keep them abreast of project status.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • Six plus (6+) years of formal Project Management experience
  • PMP Certification within twelve to twenty four (12-24) months of hire
