About The Position

Paligen Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Deltek Costpoint ERP across the organization. This role is crucial for managing large-scale ERP implementations, with a specific emphasis on Deltek Costpoint. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Costpoint modules, particularly in manufacturing and project-based accounting, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements. The project is currently in the planning and early design stage, and the Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle from continued planning through execution, and post-implementation improvements. Success in this role depends on the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience managing/leading a large-scale ERP implementation project.
  • Implementation and migration experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to multitask in a stressful and fast-paced environment with specific deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; capable of influencing and directing work to achieve results.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Uses good judgment and has sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Acts with integrity, works collaboratively, meets commitments, and strives to continually improve and streamline processes.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of Deltek Costpoint ERP implementation, including planning, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Define and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal system utilization.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders (internal and external) and the implementation team, leading the internal project management team.
  • Regularly update senior leadership on project status, potential risks, and progress.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, HR, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for software customization, integration, and support.
  • Ensure resources are effectively utilized and costs are managed within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve issues promptly to avoid disruptions to project timelines.
  • Support post-implementation and continuous improvement actions.
  • Oversee system testing (unit, integration, user acceptance) and manage defect resolution.
  • Ensure the solution meets all functional, technical, and compliance requirements before go-live.
  • Develop and implement appropriate training programs for end-users to ensure successful adoption.
  • Support organizational change management by preparing teams for process and system changes.
