About The Position

This summer internship, lasting 10-12 weeks, is located in Garner, NC. The goal of this internship is to identify a technology-based improvement opportunity and then devise and manage the SAP project plan for its implementation. The intern will work closely with a Senior Project Manager on either a new project or an existing one. The program's primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and assignments that align with professional interests within the processing and manufacturing industry.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2028 through June 2030.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
Comfortable with public speaking, initiating, leading, and following through on conversations, presentations, and training.
Balance of technical, analytical thinking, and being personable to make connections for enterprise-level change.
Strong business acumen - ability to understand the impact of IT on different parts of the business.

Responsibilities

Maintain the integrated SAP project schedule by tracking milestones, identifying overdue activities and following up with workstream leads.
Prepare status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and project updates covering schedule, scope, risks, issues, resources, and milestones.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Learn project management methodologies, SAP implementation practices, and how large IT projects are governed.
