Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master or Project Manager in IT/Data Engineering projects
  • Strong background in one or more of the following areas (Application Management, Release Management, Quality Management, Project Management, Environments Management)
  • Able to organize plans/timelines (primarily in Excel)
  • Able to track and follow up on planned/past due/completed tasks
  • Familiar with change management tools and systems (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow, others)
  • Must be able to take initiative and be a fast learner
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, Jira, Confluence, and project tracking tools
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, team coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing end-to-end project delivery in fast-paced environments
  • Associate's degree
  • Role requires onsite client work 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agile certification
  • Experience working with Data Engineering, Cloud, ETL, or Big Data projects
  • Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Regulatory Reporting domains
  • Ability to manage distributed/offshore-onshore teams and multiple concurrent projects
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of a program or project to achieve business outcomes.
  • This includes defining project scope, monitoring the execution of deliverables, and communicating across multiple stakeholders to manage expectations, issues, and outcomes.
  • You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of project activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project stability.
  • Support team members by sharing expertise and facilitating problem-solving sessions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and outcomes.
