About The Position

EchoStar is seeking an IT Product Owner to support core front-end applications, primarily for the Dish TV and Sling TV lines of business. This role involves collaborating with IT, Operations, and Product teams to define a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. The Product Owner will prioritize and maintain technical product backlogs, ensuring development teams focus on high-value work. They will also lead agile ceremonies in partnership with development teams, translate non-technical requirements into clear technical requirements, and may extend their role into project and release management when necessary to support key business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role in an IT or technology-driven organization.
Proven experience working in Scrum environments.
Work experience with management & delivery tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
AI-literacy within the stated enterprise tools.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise IT architecture.

Nice To Haves

Agile/SAFe certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
