About The Position

The IT Product Manager, Planning Solutions is responsible for defining and delivering PVH's global planning capabilities, with a primary focus on Blue Yonder (BY) cMFP and related planning technologies. This role manages the product roadmap, ensuring planning solutions meet business requirements. This is a functional, business-facing role that acts as the primary bridge between Global, Regional, Market Planning teams and IT technical delivery teams. The role manages the product vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for planning solutions, ensuring they enable PVH's planning strategies across brands, channels, and regions. This role focuses on planning processes, business requirements, governance, adoption, continuous improvement and value realization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Merchandise Financial Planning, or related planning domains, ideally within retail or apparel.
  • Strong functional experience with Blue Yonder Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment/Range Planning solutions.
  • Deep understanding of retail planning concepts, including: Financial planning and investment strategies, Seasonality, lifecycle planning, and channel dynamics.
  • Proven experience acting as an IT product owner or functional lead for enterprise planning solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex planning concepts into clear functional requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product and roadmap for planning solutions including Merchandise Financial Planning capabilities across PVH.
  • Serve as the primary functional owner for Blue Yonder CMFP, ensuring it supports PVH’s planning objectives, calendar, and decision-making needs.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for planning solutions, including adoption, usability, decision quality, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between planning tools and broader merchandising, financial, and channel strategies.
  • Deeply understand end-to-end retail merchandising planning processes, including: Strategic planning, Pre-season and in-season financial planning, Top-down and bottom-up planning, Assortment and range architecture, Channel and regional planning nuances.
  • Translate business planning objectives into clear functional capabilities within CMFP and Assortment/Range Planning solutions.
  • Ensure planning calendars, phases, seasons, and workflows align with how the business plans and operates.
  • Act as a thought partner to Planning business teams, helping shape future-state planning processes enabled by technology.
  • Lead the gathering and prioritization of business requirements from Global, Regional, and Brand Planning teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for IT and vendor partners.
  • Partner with technical teams to review proposed designs and ensure solutions meet functional, usability, and governance expectations.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions between standard product capabilities and business process change.
  • Own functional governance for planning solutions, including: Planning attributes and measures, Planning workflows and views.
  • Lead functional review and validation of vendor releases and enhancements prior to business deployment.
  • Participate / Lead as appropriate testing, SIT, UAT ensuring changes support planning objectives and do not disrupt critical cycles.
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure clean handoffs into production and strong operational readiness.
  • Drive adoption of planning solutions through clear communication, training, and enablement of planning users.
  • Partner with Change Management and Training teams to develop role-based training materials and documentation.
  • Act as a trusted escalation point for planning teams, ensuring issues are prioritized based on business impact.
  • Continuously collect user feedback and incorporate learnings into the product roadmap.
