About The Position

Lead mission-critical modernization, digital transformation, and strategic growth initiatives supporting the DoW. Serve as an executive-level IT and business leader responsible for advancing enterprise capabilities across identity, personnel, benefits, readiness, and data platforms that support millions of service members, veterans, civilians, and beneficiaries. Drive modernization of legacy systems, cloud adoption, data-driven decision making, and AI-enabled solutions while building trusted relationships with DoW senior leadership. Oversee high-visibility portfolios, lead cross-functional teams, and shape technology strategies that improve mission outcomes across the defense enterprise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale IT programs, digital modernization efforts, and enterprise portfolios supporting DoW or federal missions
  • Experience managing and growing complex programs supporting personnel and pay systems, identity management, or enterprise data platforms
  • Experience leading the modernization of mission-critical systems supporting personnel, readiness, identity, benefits, human resources (HR), or data management functions
  • Experience briefing SES, General Officer or Flag Officer, and senior DoW executives on modernization strategy, portfolio performance, and technology investments
  • Knowledge of DoW mission areas, including identity management, personnel and readiness data, benefits eligibility, and enterprise data services
  • Ability to translate policy, operational, and technical requirements into executable modernization roadmaps
  • Ability to manage enterprise-scale budgets, risk, schedules, acquisition strategies, and stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience driving business development, capture, and proposal strategy in the federal health IT, HR IT, or DoW modernization markets

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • PMP and ITIL Certifications
