About The Position

Support IT Governance Operations processes across Scan enterprise systems and applications. Includes the coordination and communication of Change, Incidents and Audits that results in maintaining the integrity of all Scan IT managed systems. We seek Rebels who are curious about AI and its power to transform how we operate and serve our members. Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 +years of experience supporting Change and Release Management processes.
  • 2+ years large IT organization experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development, SDLC methodology
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools.
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and web-based systems
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Change and Release Management processes, including coordinating and communicating enterprise releases across key systems, applications, and programs.
  • Support SCAN Incident Management by helping resolve service disruptions, minimizing business impact, and coordinating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Identify and escalate risks, and partner with program teams to mitigate and resolve issues that may affect release scope, schedule, or quality.
  • Contribute to maintaining the CAB change calendar for all releases.
  • Support critical operational activities for IT systems, including software releases, system configuration, defect management, change requests, and communications, while ensuring release processes are followed. Stay informed of Go-Live activities to track release progress.
  • Support the manager with internal and external audit activities.
  • Help maintain department metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Change and Release Management processes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with program stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors by proactively setting expectations, coordinating information exchange, and providing regular updates on progress and risks.
  • Follow Enterprise Applications department guidelines, protocols, tools, and processes.
