IT Network Engineer - TS/SCI FSP
About The Position
As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing guidance for the development of network designs and architecture. This role involves analyzing, designing, and developing comprehensive strategies and implementation plans for current, transitional, and future state architecture viewpoints, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic requirements. You will work closely with IT leadership to align architectural strategies with organizational goals and requirements, and ensure the conceptual completeness of technical security solutions. The position also requires defining technical solutions by analyzing their viability to meet timeline, budget, and quality requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards
- Familiarity with networking technologies including router/switch administration, ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols, hardware installation and support, system security techniques and firewall administration, basic database management
- Experience with designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure technology
- Experience supporting a switched or routed network environment
- Experience with installation, configuration, problem resolution and maintenance of all network resources, systems and other IT-related technologies
- Bachelor’s Degree
- TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly
