About The Position

The IT Network Administrator will be responsible for addressing technology related issues from our internal customers. This position will be part of the Fleet Farm Infrastructure/Network Team which is responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining Fleet Farm’s IT enterprise network infrastructure. This position will also be responsible for executing small to medium projects, vendor management and procurement.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Information Technology, Networking or Business required, or equivalent experience.
• Have experience with ranging Network technologies.
• Have experience installing infrastructure hardware such as networking or servers.
• Have experience with infrastructure/network/systems monitoring tools.
• Have experience organizing tasks and materials for vendors and/or contractors.
• Have experience monitoring Critical Infrastructure systems (Server room power and cooling).
• Have experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage cabling and fiber optic cabling within ranging environments.
• Have some understanding of vendor, procurement and budget management.
• Have in-depth experience using Microsoft Office suite products such as MS Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Cisco certification or BICSI certification would be beneficial to the position.
• Training or experience in electrical or low voltage installation and support would also be considered beneficial for the position.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the Fleet Farm IT network for performance issues or service degradation.
• Work to track issues discovered during monitoring.
• Work individually, with Fleet Farm team members or with vendor partners on discovered network, low voltage or electrical issues and questions.
• Support ongoing projects resulting in stable network infrastructure for users.
• Perform or lead tasks as assigned by the IT Leadership team.
• Maintain a clear understanding of Fleet Farm goals while following Fleet Farm Standard Operating Procedures.
