Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the facility’s network end to end—LAN/WLAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, and VPN.
  • Plan capacity, segment the network, and ensure secure, reliable connectivity across the site.
  • Manage and support structured cabling, server/network rooms (MDF/IDF), racks, power, and physical IT infrastructure for a new start up facility.
  • Manage deployment and administer on-premises and cloud server infrastructure (Windows Server, virtualization, hybrid Active Directory/Entra), storage, and backup/disaster-recovery solutions.
  • Implement and enforce security controls—endpoint protection, identity and access management, MFA, patching, logging, and monitoring—and align local practices with corporate security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Own the device lifecycle in Microsoft Intune (Windows/macOS/iOS/Android), and administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint/OneDrive, including provisioning, permissions, and licensing.
  • Serve as the local escalation point and provide hands-on support for users on-site, partnering with the global Service Desk to resolve issues quickly and keep the business running.
  • Build and lead the local IT team as the site scales, define standards, documentation, and processes, and manage vendors, procurement, and IT budget for the entity.
