About The Position

Position Summary The IT Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the company’s information technology operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all systems and infrastructure. This role leads IT resources, manages technology projects, and ensures alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership experience
  • Experience supporting ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and procurement
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (CMMC, NIST, or similar)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, networking, servers, and cloud platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing MSPs and external technology vendors
  • Experience administering corporate intranet platforms
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, logging platforms, and audit processes
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.)
  • Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison to Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure effective IT operations
  • Oversee system uptime, backups, patching, and infrastructure health
  • Monitor MSP performance, SLAs, and issue resolution
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and compliance (including CMMC)
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk monitoring
  • Manage user access, identity management, and security training
  • Lead and optimize business systems including ERP (Epicor), engineering tools, and other platforms
  • Partner with business units to improve systems and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain system documentation, integrations, and user training
  • Own and manage CMMC compliance program and related documentation
  • Manage IT budget, procurement, vendors, and asset lifecycle
  • Plan and execute IT projects (upgrades, migrations, implementations)
  • Ensure high-quality helpdesk and end-user support
  • Lead IT integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions
