About The Position

The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction, daily operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business systems supporting Madison-Kipp Corporation's manufacturing operations. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across all facilities while partnering with manufacturing, engineering, finance, quality, maintenance, and human resources to improve operational performance. The IT Manager develops and executes technology initiatives that enhance productivity, protect company assets, improve data integrity, and support business growth through effective use of enterprise technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • 3+ years in an IT leadership or management role.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute MKC's overall IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead all IT operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop annual IT budgets and manage technology expenditures.
  • Recommend technology investments that improve operational efficiency and reduce business risk.
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors, software providers, and managed service partners.
  • Oversee all company networks, servers, storage, wireless infrastructure, and telecommunications.
  • Maintain high system availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Ensure proper backup and recovery procedures are maintained and tested.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, virtualization environments, and cloud services.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Protect company networks against cyber threats, ransomware, and unauthorized access.
  • Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and security monitoring tools.
  • Support manufacturing technology.
  • Partner with operations to improve manufacturing processes through technology.
  • Coordinate software upgrades and system integrations.
