About The Position

In this role, you will utilize your people skills and project management skills to complete the IT deliverables needed to build New Stores. You will also own and drive Network Infrastructure Projects by working with stakeholders to analyze business problems, design operational process, implement solutions, and empower the organization to meet short-term and long-term business goals. We are seeking a candidate with a strong sense of ownership and urgency in implementing fundamental improvements and industry best practices to address the network challenges in the Philippines. Thorough and proper IT Service Management for Problems, Changes and Incidents are necessary for a successful implementation and operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Specialist, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or any similar role that has significant participation in implementing software or infrastructures for fast paced or retail industry.
  • Candidate must be driven, motivated, and passionate.
  • At least 3 years in managerial position.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn new software and systems.
  • Willing to travel overseas or domestic for necessary project activities.

Responsibilities

  • Initiating, leading, and executing IT projects with global IT, and different local departments with the perspective of both a technical expert and a business leader.
  • Suggesting and driving internal process improvements within the IT Department – with special focus on a Project Management framework that would be beneficial to the retail industry.
  • Working as business partner with store operations and with department leaders to deliver end-to-end projects on time, on budget, and with quality.
  • Effective management of risks related to IT deliverables, offer impartial expert guidance aimed at the agreed business outcomes and collaboratively establish countermeasures, while ensuring adherence to the established project change management process.
  • Creating, monitoring, and adjusting of IT-related budget, project-related procurement, and detailed schedule with the, incorporating issues or risks.
  • Establishing efficient work planning and providing effective technical guidelines to the assigned vendors for each IT activity such as device kitting, installation in store, etc.
  • Strong, proactive management of vendor partners to ensure that the quality standards of the company are met. This includes alignment of the needed vendor manpower to ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet the deadlines.
  • Monitoring and controlling the project progress, status, and compliance with established standards and agreed timeline.
  • Providing inputs for continuous improvement of the company and the team’s processes and systems to attain KPI targets.
  • Outlining clear roles and responsibilities within project for team members to ensure clear allocation of responsibilities and execution of project within agreed budget and timeline.
  • Outlining key contract terms including SLAs on quality, timelines, and close monitoring on payments.
  • Ensure that all deliverables, whether software, hardware, processes, products, or business change are fit for purpose, meet all relevant requirements and are effectively transitioned to support the business.
  • Coordinates with internal New Store Opening teams for IT requirements and timeline.
  • Coordinates with external vendors (POS ,store devices, network, internet, cabling, EFT) for device acquisition, services, delivery and installation.
  • Manage project vendor/s to ensure contracted deliverables are received on-time and to the expected standard of quality.
