About The Position

We are seeking a IT Systems and Network Team Lead to manage and enhance our technology infrastructure in a fast-paced food distribution environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with expertise in network and IT systems administration who is ready to take ownership of both day-to-day operations and larger strategic projects. Our ideal candidate brings technical skill, leadership ability, and a passion for keeping critical systems running seamlessly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience in network/system administration, with a strong foundation in both technical expertise and team leadership.
• Direct experience with network infrastructure, user support, and network security practices.
• A “player-coach” mentality with strong troubleshooting skills, ready to work directly alongside your team.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills, with a commitment to supporting smooth operations in a high-energy setting.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are welcomed in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in maintaining our network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, servers, and key business applications.
• Handle help desk tickets alongside your team, providing efficient support for network, hardware, and essential software issues.
• Lead and develop a small IT team by example, promoting a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Manage network security with firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Be present onsite daily to provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
