About The Position

Establishes, administers and directs the overall policies, plans and goals for the information technology department to support the company's short and long-term business objectives. Works with other departments to determine their technology needs and establishes priorities. Monitors new developments in information systems technology and implements innovative solutions to business process, problems, security and opportunities. Ensures security, confidentiality and reliability of corporate data resources.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Management position leading IT professionals in various roles
  • 5+ years’ experience working with MRP
  • 3+ years’ project management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with and lead team members to meet goals and complete tasks
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
  • Experience coordinating and managing all HIA software for most efficient usage.
  • A sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
  • Experience programming and /or troubleshooting A/V equipment.
  • Experience installing and replacing equipment, with knowledge of A/V integration.
  • Demonstrates ability to produce detailed solutions for a technical audience, and produce clear written communications for a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail to continually assess organizational needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and manage time effectively to meet deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT department associates by providing direction to the staff members responsible for the operations of the network infrastructure, ERP systems, CRM Systems, telephone systems, and all other supporting hardware/software utilized throughout the organization. Train associates in proper work methods.
  • Work with management and associates throughout the organization to define technology needs to meet short and long-term business plans, determine cost justification, and quantify return on investment. Technology needs include but are not limited to hardware, software, programming, and identification, evaluation and acquisition of other technology solutions to support the business needs.
  • Control contribution of department by monitoring operations, reviewing performance and providing feedback or other countermeasures.
  • Maintain positive work environment, communicating expectations, providing recognition, performance feedback and fair application of policies and practices. Discipline associates where necessary.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the development, acquisition, and deployment of technology solutions to the end-user.
  • Negotiate, track, and maintain all service contracts for hardware or software used throughout the organization.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for system security, network, Internet, e-mail and other system usage.
  • Establish fiscal budget for the IT department that includes all hardware, software, training, and staff resources. Track actual spending against budget. Approve purchases.
  • Establish and implement standards for hardware, software, security, backup/recovery, programming, and help desk support to ensure all supported systems and applications utilized throughout the organization are secure, maintainable, upgradeable, and scalable to meet changing business needs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual and mid-term reports on planned activities.
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with ISO, FDA, OSHA and EEO standards.
  • Create and maintain policies and detailed procedures for department.
  • Provide maintenance support for A/V equipment, such as microphones, projectors, lighting control, etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments where necessary.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance activities related to the job function, including quality audits, adverse event reporting for company products, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices for reporting and record keeping.
