HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care. IT Manager Summary: The IT Manager reports to HealthFirst’s COO/CIO and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, support, security, and performance of the organization’s information technology systems and infrastructure across all HealthFirst sites. Responsibilities include managing IT support operations and escalations; maintaining hardware, software, telecommunications, and clinical systems; coordinating with internal staff, vendors, and hosted service providers to ensure reliable system availability and issue resolution; supporting cybersecurity, compliance, identity management, and HIPAA-related initiatives; supervising and mentoring IT support staff; managing onboarding/offboarding and user access administration; overseeing IT asset lifecycle management and operational budgeting; supporting Epic and other healthcare applications; developing policies, procedures, and training resources; and recommending cost-effective technology improvements aligned with organizational goals. The position requires strong technical, communication, leadership, vendor management, and strategic planning skills, as well as experience supporting healthcare technology environments and electronic health record systems.
