About The Position

The IT Manager will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to our Hotel guests, staff and Hotel Systems. They will facilitate compliance with all security protocols, protect data and ensure our computer systems are optimized to meet the unique needs of our hotel team.

Requirements

  • Leadership or supervisory/Lead experience in a similar role preferred
  • University/College degree in a related discipline and/or 2 years technical support experience
  • Excellent technical knowledge of PC hardware, Microsoft platforms, and end-user support
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, wireless networks, and network troubleshooting
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Understanding of hotel applications and hospitality technology systems an asset
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
  • Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and adaptable with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Must provide proof of current eligibility to be employed in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Support Hotel Guests in meeting spaces, common areas, and guest rooms with technology-related needs and connectivity.
  • Support Hotel Staff with desktop applications, systems, hardware, and day-to-day technology requests
  • Support and maintain hotel systems and infrastructure including servers, networks, wireless systems, firewalls, internet connectivity, and guest-facing technologies
  • Support hospitality systems including PMS, POS, IPTV, VOIP, key systems, meeting and event technology, and related integrations
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and corporate IT teams for escalations, projects, maintenance, and support initiatives
  • Assist with planning, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, backups, inventory management, and security compliance for hotel technology systems and assets
  • Provide after-hours support as needed for critical hotel operations and technology-related incidents
  • Other duties as assigned
