About The Position

Starfish Space is growing fast, building and launching satellites, hiring rapidly, and growing our IT footprint to support it all. We’re looking to hire someone to support this growth who is comfortable solving a broad range of issues across IT and Facilities. In this role, you will configure hardware and software tools, troubleshoot issues, build out network and other tech infrastructure, and do whatever else is required to ensure our IT systems are consistently supporting Starfish employees and company goals.

Requirements

• Must be a US person due to ITAR regulations (citizen, permanent resident, or designated asylee / refugee)
• Willing to work from our office in Tukwila, Washington
• Associate or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience configuring and managing IT systems and networking infrastructure
• Comfort working within Linux and Windows operating systems
• Ability to quickly learn new hardware and software platforms
• Familiarity with US Government export control regimes (e.g., ITAR) and cybersecurity requirements (e.g., CMMC) a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent judgment and first-principles problem-solving skills
