About The Position

This role requires a versatile professional who can bridge technical and business needs, driving solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals. The IT Solutions Specialist will design and implement complex enterprise solutions, gather requirements, conduct technical analysis, lead design discussions, manage vendors and contracts, and oversee projects. The position also involves technology evaluation, incident resolution, and team leadership. Additional duties include project support, contract reviews, cost control, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Design and document complex enterprise solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with standards and planning for a smooth transition.
Coordinate with distributed teams, testing, and deployment of solutions.
Communicate effectively across diverse teams and locations to accomplish tasks.
Collaborate with IT application owners to identify and define business needs and technical requirements.
Conduct technical evaluations, including cost/benefit analysis, to ensure solutions align with company objectives.
Lead solution design meetings and participate in project teams.
Work through complex contracts, including engaging new vendors and managing agreements such as MSAs and NDAs.
Manage key variables such as time, money, and risk to achieve business goals.
Participate in the evaluation and planning of new technologies, and regularly review existing systems to recommend improvements.
Assist in incident resolution and problem analysis as needed.
Manage individuals to maximize their potential, guiding them towards achieving business goals.
Assist with project tracking, status reports, and team or scrum meetings.
Support software, hardware, and project approvals, and review software and vendor contracts.
Help manage IT costs and identify opportunities to reduce spending.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
