About The Position

The IT intern will assist the IT team in a variety of tasks spanning end user support, backend testing, front end development, and department administration. This position will allow the applicant to learn about the various areas of IT, tools and collaborations with departments and user with the organization.

Requirements

Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress or recent graduates within one year of successfully completing a bachelor’s or master’s program. Must be verified as part of the background check process.
Experience with using web based and PC base software tools and systems.
Understanding of PC architectures
Understanding of networking concepts
Understanding of computer operating systems and how to configure them
IT certifications, such as A+ are recommended
Applicants with a Software development background will also be considered
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL

Nice To Haves

Good working knowledge of computer and networking technology.
Ability to use original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
Ability to write technical reports and contribute to presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Must show initiative and motivation, and have the ability to act independently to resolve technical issues.
