About The Position
Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking an IT Division Intern to support its headquarters in Lexington Park, MD. This internship offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to real-world IT operations in emerging technology areas. The intern will assist with user equipment setup and configuration, troubleshoot hardware issues, support automation initiatives (including RPA), contribute to AI-assisted IT support, and assist with Information Assurance activities.
Requirements
- Completed between two and four years of college
- Currently enrolled in courses majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Capable of working effectively as part of a team
- Must qualify for a DoD SECRET clearance
- Must satisfy eligibility criteria to access classified information
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and configuration of user equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair computers, printers, peripherals, and related hardware issues
- Support automation initiatives, including basic Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tasks and workflow optimization
- Contribute to AI-assisted IT support efforts such as ticket triage, knowledge base development, and process improvements
- Assist with Information Assurance (IA) activities including documentation, compliance support, and security best practices
- Perform other duties and project-based tasks as assigned
