About The Position

Viaflex is seeking an IT Intern for Summer 2027 to complete projects and tasks during the internship period. The intern will assist with configuration of IFS Cloud functionality, features, and automation, and help reduce the IT backlog related to the 2026 code freeze. The role includes working with an assigned mentor and manager, providing project updates, attending training and company events, and delivering an end-of-summer internship presentation. The intern is also expected to demonstrate Viaflex Team Member Values and support continuous improvement of the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards. The position is primarily in a normal office environment, with occasional entry into production areas where noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures may be present. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science and business administration.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without close supervision.
Problem-solving abilities.
Ability to identify waste and creatively seek solutions.
Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
Flexibility and ability to multitask.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Responsibilities

Complete projects and tasks assigned within the internship discipline.
Assist in configuring new IFS Cloud functionality, features, and automation.
Help reduce the IT backlog from the 2026 code freeze as it relates to IFS Cloud and related applications.
Attend Viaflex-sponsored training and educational seminars.
Engage in and participate in Viaflex-sponsored events.
Work with an assigned mentor and manager toward successful completion of the internship.
Provide periodic updates to managers and peers on assigned projects.
Complete a summer-end internship presentation.
Demonstrate Viaflex Team Member Values and encourage team members to do the same.
Support and continuously improve the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and assist in other areas as needed.
