The Recorder’s Office IT Intern is a short-term position designed to provide hands-on experience to a degree-seeking student. The IT Intern will support project coordination, business analysis, and quality assurance activities within a government office. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the intern will support key technology initiatives that enhance efficiency and innovation within the office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in support of departmental initiatives
  • Support business analysis activities, including research, data collection, and documentation of processes and requirements
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions aligned with agency goals
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, and meeting summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program and operational objectives
  • Other projects and duties assigned as needed
