About The Position

The Desktop Support Intern will assist the IT team in providing entry level phone support to end-users, password reset, ticket entry, login issues, and maintaining IT assets. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in IT support operations. This position is normally a 3–4-month position with the opportunity to extend depending on student availability and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Office 365 products.
  • Experience using a help desk ticketing system for tracking support tickets.
  • Experience with patch management tools and Windows imaging tools.

Responsibilities

  • Telephone triage and orchestration.
  • Document IT support requests, resolutions, and procedures using the ticketing system.
  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with troubleshooting operating systems and application issues, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise software.
  • Assist with computer equipment moves.
  • Perform special projects within other areas as requested.
  • Adhere to BSA policy and all other bank policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
