About The Position

One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company. This is also a great opportunity for someone to grow their skills within IT Support and have the opportunity to advance their careers within IT. They are currently looking for individuals who are looking to grow within their company. This will be a first shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems and hardware troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to support high-pressure environments.
Experience in Active Directory, VPN, and Microsoft 365.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical tasks.

Nice To Haves

Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred.
IT certifications are desirable for this role.
2 years of Desktop IT Support Experience
Any healthcare IT is a bonus
EMR Support (Cerner)
Windows 11, imaging and deployment experience
CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role

Responsibilities

Provide face-to-face and remote support to VIP users and staff, focusing on urgent resolution.
Manage the resolution of hardware and software tickets using ticketing systems, adhering to SLAs.
Setup, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktop equipment, and peripherals.
Assist with setting up IT equipment and accounts for new employees.
Ensure workstations and network equipment are updated and functioning correctly.
