Chemours is seeking a IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our growing Information Technology team. This position will be available at the Chemours Discovery Hub, Newark, Delaware and report directly to the Northeast IT Leader. This highly visible role supports a diverse range of technologies and projects critical to innovation and research. The specialist will partner with scientists, engineers, and business teams to deliver IT solutions that enable cutting-edge research and development.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of direct IT support experience in a corporate or technical environment.
  • Strong technical skills in supporting desktop/PC hardware, peripherals, and Microsoft 365/Office 365 Suite.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Dell Certified Support Technician or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 services and tools, such as Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, or Power Automate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Telephony and related Teams functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/Intune or related endpoint management tools.
  • Experience with endpoint security tools or Windows scripting languages such as PowerShell or Batch.

Responsibilities

  • Support the entire PC lifecycle, including inventory, installation, deployment, break-fix, asset return, and end-of-life management.
  • Install, configure, and test computer software, applications, and upgrades on company-issued devices, including personal computers, tablets, virtual desktop clients, mobile devices, and network connections.
  • Provide training to end-user support resources and employees on the use of technology, as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain support technician documentation, tools, and processes.
  • Adhere to established procedures, global policies, and process workflows across all support areas.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, ensuring user needs are understood, addressed, and resolved to satisfaction.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms, Live Events, and Town Hall setups.
  • Partner with scientists, engineers, and business teams in an R&D environment to enable research and innovation.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
