About The Position

This individual will be responsible for helping to break down complex challenges, build sustainable work streams, understand requirements, and build programs to support the infrastructure, focusing on enhancing security and driving compliance. The role involves partnering with the manager and acting as a liaison to various technology organizations, including DTO Infrastructure Engineering, Architecture, System & Network Operations Administration, Command Center, Service Management, Operational Excellence, Digital Cybersecurity Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Vulnerability Management, and Threat Management. Key responsibilities include enhancing infrastructure security on a continuous basis, managing infrastructure controls, governing procedures and processes for review/audit purposes, ensuring cybersecurity toolsets and technologies are up-to-date, and consulting on security and compliance challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of broad IT Infrastructure experience, specifically Server and/or Network Administration in a large enterprise-level organization.
  • 2nd or 3rd level support experience.
  • Practical understanding of Cybersecurity in an infrastructure setting.
  • Knowledge of IT security compliance, risk management, and information security principles including access control, network security, information security architecture, and information security operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar technology-related degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including technical teams and senior individuals such as managers/VPs.
  • Fast learner with the ability to hit the ground running.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of engineering and architecture as it pertains to system administration.
  • Experience deploying tools to manage and secure infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working in multi-discipline teams and projects to achieve objectives either as a subject matter expert or technical lead (e.g., Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Operations/Engineering/Architecture).
  • Hands-on operations support to regulated systems, storage, or network infrastructure (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, or similar).
  • Practical understanding of leading practices and associated tools for IT security compliance, risk management, and information security principles.
  • ISC2 CISSP or ISACA CISM Certification.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement expertise preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile development.
