About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and projects related to an agency’s or organization's information technology infrastructure. This role involves coordinating between technical teams, vendors, and a variety of assorted personnel in an attempt to ensure that infrastructure systems, such as servers, networks, and storage, function effectively and support business objectives. The IT Infrastructure Coordinator plays a key role in project planning, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements, while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure-related projects and initiatives, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist in planning and implementing new technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and scalability.
  • Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to manage infrastructure-related tasks and procurements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure systems, processes, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to teams and end-users regarding infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for routine maintenance and system updates.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and implementation, ensuring business continuity.
