About The Position

Provide technical support to HutchCC students, faculty, and staff. Junior and Senior designations will be applied to the job title where appropriate to skill level and experience. This is a full-time, 12-month annual, benefit-eligible, at-will, and non-exempt support staff position.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Information technology support experience.
  • Phone support experience and troubleshooting skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated personality.
  • Experience with a variety of web browsers.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, carrying.
  • Visual acuity to view a computer terminal.
  • Ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Windows, Mac, and OpenVMS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to HutchCC students, faculty, and staff.
  • Enter and update tickets in the ITS support call processing system.
  • Act as part of the ITS support team.
  • Help maintain HutchCC information.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Support Manager.
