About The Position

This is a job skill that is performed in the US Army or Army Reserves as a Soldier. Enlisting is required and will undergo pre-qualifying questions, an interview, an academic test, and a physical. This is an initial entry job skill, no experience necessary. The US Army will send you to school to learn the job and get the necessary certifications. Information technology specialists are responsible for maintaining, processing, and troubleshooting military computer systems/operations.

Requirements

  • Must take a series of tests that helps you better understand your strengths and identify which Army jobs are best for you.
  • Ages 17-34; 35-39 Requires a Waiver.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Work Authorization: United States (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in computer science.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience in the installation of computers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of networks, hardware, and software.
  • Provide customer and network administration services.
  • Construct, edit, and test computer programs.
