Requirements

  • High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
  • 2-3 years of user/system support

Nice To Haves

  • IT related Certifications desired, but not required. ( Microsoft, Network +, A+ )
  • Experience with PLC, microcontrollers, etc. a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Supports users locally and remotely across multi-site SDWAN and external networks.
  • Triages and prioritizes Helpdesk tickets; driving to resolution and documenting. Escalates when appropriate.
  • Manages and creates user and computer accounts in Active Directory and provision Exchange mailboxes.
  • Client support of Microsoft Operating Systems: Windows 10 through Windows 11, Office 2013 through 365, and Citrix thin clients, manages Citrix sessions, CAD/CAM engineering software, and ERP endpoint connectivity.
  • Configures and troubleshoots handheld data collection scan gun devices.
  • Creates image and provision client systems from bare metal.
  • Trains new and established users on IT policies, services, etc.
  • Document and implement training materials and programs.
  • Ensures documentation of standards and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates asset and inventory management.
  • Manages printers and spooler service, copiers, scanners, and faxes.
  • Manage third party contractors for installation, repair, and maintenance of onsite systems
  • Supports production machine tool attached equipment (Predator, Build to Monitor, Pick to Light, Digi-Serial device, CMM).
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on IT assets.
