About The Position

This internship offers a unique blend of Power Platform development and traditional IT Help Desk responsibilities. The primary focus (60%) will be on designing and developing Power Apps, building Power Automate flows, creating Power BI dashboards, and assisting with integrations. The secondary focus (40%) will involve providing Tier 1 support for IT systems, assisting with Microsoft 365 administration, supporting device management, and troubleshooting various technical issues. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in both application development and IT support.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Dataverse
  • Familiarity with SQL databases
  • Understanding of Intune and device management

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to support business processes
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows (cloud and desktop) for workflow automation
  • Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights
  • Assist with SharePoint and Dataverse integrations
  • Work with data from SQL, APIs, and flat files to create automated pipelines
  • Develop scripts (Python preferred) for data transformation, automation, or integration tasks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Document solutions and build reusable templates and standards
  • Provide Tier 1 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration (user provisioning, licensing, permissions)
  • Support Intune and device management workflows
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, printing, and software issues
  • Participate in onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Participate in audits
  • Other duties as assigned by management
