TEKsystems is seeking an IT Hardware Field Service Technician for a project involving the installation of Self Checkout Registers. This role will involve installing new self-checkout registers, including demag pads and holders, and ADA monitor mounts and arms, following customer-provided documentation. The technician will be responsible for ensuring all cables are securely connected and functional, maintaining cable hygiene by concealing routing, removing excess slack, eliminating trip hazards, and using approved cable management materials. Additionally, the role requires conducting testing and verification of installed devices and capturing required documentation for upload to a Kohl’s designated repository. This is a contract position with a 2-week project duration, supporting various cities around the Phoenix area, with travel to stores in Tucson and Flagstaff also required. Mileage, drive time, and hotel expenses will be paid for.
