About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking an IT General Controls Auditor for an active RFP opportunity: IT General Controls and Cybersecurity Audit. The City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a qualified firm to conduct an IT General Controls and Cybersecurity Audit. The work includes assessment of access controls, change management, operations controls, cybersecurity governance, risk posture, control design, and reporting suitable for executive and audit stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant experience for this RFP-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess IT general controls, change management, access controls, operations controls, and control effectiveness for a public-sector cybersecurity audit.
• Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response.
• Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness.
