About The Position

Our client is a global leader in medical simulation technology, providing advanced patient simulators used by hospitals, universities, and healthcare training programs. These systems allow medical professionals to practice real-life scenarios in a controlled environment, helping improve patient outcomes and reduce risk in clinical settings. They are seeking an IT Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of these simulator systems at customer locations throughout the region.

Requirements

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the workweek
Basic IT troubleshooting experience
Experience working in Windows 10 environments
Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, and IP addressing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and professionally at customer locations

Nice To Haves

CompTIA A+ or similar certification
Electronics troubleshooting or repair experience
Experience in field service, AV, telecom, low-voltage, biomedical equipment, or other hands-on technical environments
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Install and configure patient simulator systems at hospitals, universities, and training centers
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Ensure systems are properly connected to customer networks and fully operational
Diagnose and resolve Windows-based hardware and software problems
Provide basic training and support to end users on-site
Travel to customer locations throughout the region
Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company in the field
