About The Position
TEKsystems is looking for an IT technician with over 3 years of experience to support a 6-week project. This role involves standard site surveys in phase one, followed by phase two which includes rack and stacking, running cable, and implementing any new technology identified as missing or needed during the site surveys.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an IT technician.
- Experience with desktop support.
- Experience with site surveys.
- Experience with rack and stack procedures.
- Experience with cable pulls.
- Experience with installation of hardware and technology.
- Experience with technical support.
- Experience with deployment processes.
- Experience with IT support.
- Knowledge of networks.
- Experience with hardware.
- Experience with installation.
- Familiarity with switches.
- Familiarity with wireless technology.
- Familiarity with cabling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standard site surveys.
- Perform rack and stacking of equipment.
- Run cabling.
- Implement new technology identified as missing or needed.
