About The Position

M.G. Oil Company, Inc. is hiring a Full Time IT Field Support Technician to provide support to employees throughout South Dakota and Wyoming. This is a growing company that needs to expand its IT department. This position is NOT a remote position and requires travel. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of IT work-related experience, the ability to provide support via calls or in person, set up new computers, and troubleshoot and repair networking and hardware issues. This role also involves providing guidance and training to less experienced personnel while maintaining excellent customer service. The technician must be able to work independently without supervision, be familiar with various Operating Systems (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux), and manage assigned projects to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

Requirements

• 2 years of IT work-related experience
• Ability to provide support with calls where support is requested or needed
• Ability to set up new computers
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair networking and hardware
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Familiarity with a variety of Operating Systems (ex: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass background check
• Must have clean driving record
