Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated IT Field Support Engineer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical computer systems and network infrastructure across our locations. You will serve as the essential hands-on link between our physical sites and global support teams to ensure seamless business connectivity. Our Information Technology team is a fast-paced, collaborative group dedicated to maintaining high-performance infrastructure and delivering world-class technical support to our global workforce.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience as an Information Technology Field Service Engineer or in a high-intensity technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure, including Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Local Area Networks (LAN).
  • Proven ability in hardware troubleshooting and physical infrastructure deployment, including racking equipment and managing structured cabling.
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Information/Networking Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site technical operations by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware including servers, Nutanix systems, and network devices such as Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
  • Collaborate with Global Real Estate project managers and remote Network Engineering teams to design and outfit sites with Information Technology infrastructure following standardized organizational concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards by implementing rigorous network security practices and maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations.

  • Reasonably expected salary range: $81,200.00 - $108,300.00
