Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of IT experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to use power tools as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking technologies
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various temperature conditions.
  • Must wear safety equipment when required.
  • On call availability for emergencies.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites per day.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in IT or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for IT maintenance and completion of service requests.
  • Preventative maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
  • Documentation of service, preventative maintenance, and corporate credit card expenditures.
  • Troubleshoot technological, software, and hardware issues as reported by on-site staff.
  • Repair or replace defective components and parts.
  • Monitor system performance and security to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Install and test new equipment.
  • Assist with new site builds, including pulling network cables and mounting hardware such as servers, switches, and routers.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site staff to understand their needs and address concerns.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Part sourcing and ordering.
  • Other duties as assigned.
